The Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) and State Bank of Pakistan has launched a crackdown against the foreign exchange companies involved in illegal transfer of foreign currency. Talking to APP Director FIA Azam Joya said Saturday night that the joint teams of FIA and State Bank have been constituted which are conducting raids in all big cities including Lahore, Rawalpindi, Gujranwala and Faisalabad to nab the persons involved in this illegal business.

He said the joint teams have arrested many persons from various cities and also recovered millions of rupees which were being transferred illegally. He said, a team conducted raid at Mall road here and arrested a money exchanger this night also.
